Client: Richard Crookes Constructions Pty Ltd

Value: $855,000+GST

Our scope: The project involved the full decant, decomplexing, and demolition of existing demountable facilities, comprising 17 demountables and 5 standalone amenities buildings, totalling approximately 63 modules.

Our scope included all associated service disconnections, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, carried out in accordance with Australian Standards and relevant authority requirements. This involved isolating and removing services to enable the safe dismantling and removal of the demountable structures.

GS Building completed all decanting works, including the removal of fixtures, fittings, façade elements, and preparation of modules for craning and transport (by others). This included inspection and certification of lifting points and structural components to ensure compliance with School Infrastructure NSW procedures and safe handling requirements.

The scope also included the demolition and removal of all associated access infrastructure, including stairs, ramps, decking, landings, and awnings, as well as the removal and recycling of concrete pads and footing systems.

Additional works included site establishment, dilapidation reporting, temporary fencing, tree removal, site preparation, traffic control, and coordination of cranage operations. All modules were prepared, craned, and loaded onto transport vehicles (provided by others), with GS Building managing plant, equipment, and site logistics to ensure efficient delivery of the works.
