Picton Temporary High School

Client: Taylor Constructions Pty Ltd

Value: $2,123,000 + GST

Our scope: The project involved the delivery of temporary floor systems, roof structures, and associated access infrastructure to support the installation and operation of demountable facilities.

Works were completed across multiple stages and included the construction of temporary flooring systems, roofing structures, plywood wall installations, and the full provision of balustrades, staircases, and DDA-compliant ramps.

GS Building delivered all access solutions associated with the demountables, including A-Class hoardings, decking, awnings, staircases, and compliant accessways in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.

The scope also included a range of variations and additional works such as services coordination, structural modifications, fencing, cladding, and adjustments to existing site conditions to accommodate staging and operational requirements.

All works were successfully delivered within a compressed program, demonstrating GS Building’s capability to manage staged construction, variations, and complex site logistics within an active school environment
